Red House Museum
Mary Taylor was a lifelong friend of Charlotte Bronte, and a fascinationg woman in her own right. Starting with a short guided tour around Mary’s old home, Red House in Kirklees, we will then go on a walk around the Gomersal area to learn how Mary Taylor, ‘Rose Yorke’ in Shirley, inspired Charlotte Bronte.
Distance: 3.5 miles, includes field paths, slopes and stiles.
Admission charge into Museum applies.
